More applicable for the larger retail firms, this software scans, detects, isolates (by price entry code) and displays stock record exceptions in a compact report, eliminating the need for clerks to pour through cumbersome TRAC reports. Users can also print out all activity for any single price entry code within a security. For the largest retail firms, the software takes anywhere from five to ten minutes to generate a report. For the smaller ones, it takes seconds.

Description:
This software helps operations control personnel to identify, research, and notify transfer agents about securities transfers that have aged beyond a period of time pre-determined by your firm (in most cases this is 30 days). The application extracts data from the CAGE system, identifies instances where data may not be complete or accurate within CAGE, and formats letters addressed to the transfer agents that can be easily printed out. This process usually takes place quarterly, but can be modified to suit your needs accordingly. The manual data gathering steps for generating these letters used to take as long as two weeks for some of the larger retail firms. This software accomplishes those same steps in a single hour.

This application is typically run on a single workstation or on a service-bureau type arrangement.
